Xinlianxin Launches Activated Nitro Fertilizer Range in Partnership with Herogra Group

Guangzhou, 16 September 2026 — China XLX Fertiliser Ltd. (Xinlianxin, stock code: 01866.HK) signed a cooperation agreement with Spain' s century-old liquid fertilizer specialist Herogra Group and unveiled four series of activated nitro fertilizers at the “New Nitro, Xin Era” summit. The partnership combines Herogra' s activation technology with Xinlianxin' s large-scale production capabilities and agronomic expertise to develop products tailored to Chinese soil and crop conditions.

Production routes typically feature lower energy intensity and shorter process chains with reduced waste generation. Industry data indicate that China’s nitro compound fertilizer capacity expanded from approximately 8 million tonnes in 2021 to 10.15 million tonnes in 2025, supported by policy emphasis on efficiency and rising farm-level demand for higher-performing products.

Building on its established strengths in urea and humic-acid fertilizers, Xinlianxin has developed a complete activated-nitro product matrix consisting of seven products across four series. The range is designed to provide farmers with more precise nutrient options matched to specific crop growth stages and field conditions.

This launch forms part of Xinlianxin' s wider strategic transition. In the first half of 2026 the company reported revenue of approximately RMB 15.74 billion (up 24% year-on-year) and net profit of approximately RMB 1.229 billion (up 62%), with high-efficiency fertilizers accounting for a growing share of sales. The Group continues to advance major capacity projects, including the chemical new-materials and urea facilities at its Xinxiang base, the integrated complex at Zhundong, and the Guangxi base, which is positioned to supply high-efficiency nitrogen and compound fertilizers while improving access to Southeast Asian markets. These developments support Xinlianxin' s dual focus on cost leadership and product differentiation.

The broader Chinese nitrogen sector is undergoing a similar evolution. Producers are moving beyond pure volume and cost competition toward higher-efficiency and specialised products, encouraged by national policies aimed at reducing fertilizer application rates while improving nutrient-use efficiency and lowering environmental impacts. International technology partnerships and in-house innovation are increasingly viewed as practical routes to margin protection and market differentiation.

As the organiser of FSHOW, we are pleased to have Xinlianxin as an exhibitor and look forward to welcoming industry professionals to engage with the company and its latest product developments at the upcoming edition in Shanghai, 24–26 March 2027.
