Founded in 1990, CCPIT Sub-Council of Chemical Industry (CCPIT CHEM) and CCOIC Chemical Industry Chamber of Commerce are affiliated with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC). Since 2012, CCPIT CHEM has been a certified member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). Administratively, it is affiliated with the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) as its Conference & Exhibition Department.

As China's national organization for international trade and investment promotion in the chemical sector, CCPIT CHEM promotes global business cooperation through exhibitions, conferences, trade missions, and international exchange programs. It serves as a strategic bridge connecting China’s chemical industry with global partners while facilitating trade, investment, and technological collaboration.
